Returns & withdrawal.
You can return any unworn item within 14 days for any reason. This page explains how, who pays, and when you get your money back. It also includes the EU model withdrawal form, as required by Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code.
How to return an item
- Notify us of your decision to withdraw within 14 days of receiving your order. You can do this by emailing returns@kitnations.example, by completing the form on the Contact page, or by filling in the model withdrawal form below.
- Pack the item(s) carefully in their original condition, with all tags attached and original packaging included. Boots must be unworn (a quick fit indoors is fine — outdoor wear is not).
- Send the package to: KitNations Returns, Stadionkade 12, 1077 WW Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We recommend a tracked service.
- We refund the full purchase amount (including original outbound standard shipping) within 14 days of receiving the goods, or earlier if you have provided proof of return shipment.
Who pays return shipping?
The cost of returning the goods is paid by the consumer, unless the item is faulty or not as described, in which case KitNations covers the return cost. The estimated return cost within the Netherlands is approximately €5.95 with PostNL; within the EU approximately €9.95–€19.95 depending on country and weight.
Refunds
Refunds are issued via the same payment method used for the original order. We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or earlier if you have provided proof of return shipment. Bank processing may add 1–3 business days before the funds appear in your account.
Exclusions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods that have been customised or personalised (e.g. printed name and number on a jersey)
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal has been broken after delivery
- Gift cards and digital vouchers once activated
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. To swap a size or model, return the original item for a refund and place a new order. This is the fastest route in practice and avoids stock allocation delays.
Faulty or damaged items
If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault within the warranty period, contact us at support@kitnations.example with photos. We will arrange a free return and either repair, replace, or refund the item under your statutory warranty rights.
EU Model Withdrawal Form
You are not required to use this form, but it is provided here in line with EU consumer law. You can also send any other unambiguous written statement of withdrawal.
